Lee County Florida
This year, three of the five seats for Lee County School Board are on the ballot. And, this is not going to be an election where the incumbents go unchallenged. Already all 3 seats have competition. Two incumbents are running, Steven Teuber for seat 4 and Elinor Scricca for seat 5. Robert Chilmonik is not seeking a 3rd term.
Chilmonik has interviewed with Governor Crist for the opening on the Lee County Commission. There are already 2 candidates registered for Chilmonik's seat on the school board. You can view all Lee County candidates, for all the open seats, HERE
The theme from the team of school board challengers: "This current board and the Superintendant are incompetant and corrupt". This past Saturday a meeting was held in Cape Coral by several challengers. Current school board member Bob Chilmonik was also in attendance. Both the candidates running for office and their supporters int he audience were extremely critical of the Lee County School Board.
